Strategic Investment Goals

The long-term objective of the Grand Granite Diaspora Investment Co-Operative is to identify profitable projects to create wealth for its members. The board of directors and the management will accomplish this goal by conducting continuous research to find short and long-term opportunities.

The short-term investment projects will be incremental opportunities that may lead to long-term goals (directly or indirectly). The society has entered a few long-term projects in real estate such as investment in various land in Konza for speculative purposes valued at 30 million shillings. The society has a vision of gated housing projects/ property that fits the lifestyle of diaspora members. The gated community is ongoing which will be self-staining gated housing with suitable amenities. Future projects include water bottling headquartered in Kisii, Kenya. The committee together with the board tasked formed an exploration sub-committee to perform market research on possible profitable projects in line with the society’s investment goals, bylaws, CAP490 ACT, and with measurable risks.
